I made my way up the Mississippi from the Red Stick to The Lou

Life is all about human connection. That's why I aim to bring people together through my storytelling. For as long as I can remember, I've felt the need to entertain and keep those around me feeling full. Now, I've taken my love for events that make you feel alive and tied it together with my passion for the people.

From Louisiana to The Lou, one Mardi Gras to another. I've gone from reporting hard news and traffic in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, to lifestyle and entertainment right under the Arch on Show Me St. Louis. You may have seen me on the small screen, but that's just a fraction of the full picture.

Southeastern Louisiana University is where I learned to paint that full picture from start to finish, across all media platforms. TV, radio, web, social media and more. For every segment you see, the tale is told in an array of other ways across the board to do these stories some justice!
My passion for people has led me to my current role with Make-A-Wish Missouri & Kansas. Being able to use my storytelling to encourage fundraising for local children battling critical illness has been a life-changing career path shift, and in many more ways than one. While working in business development for a children's non-profit has fueled my fire for purpose, I have continued my passion projects in other ways.

No matter where I end up professionally, I will continue creating in my free time, as that is what I am most passionate about. Working part-time with an apparel company and marketing firm, I lead meaningful marketing campaigns, create content for a variety of clients and develop strategies that deeper engage customers on a variety of platforms. While plenty of this work is independent, I also create and manage corresponding events for special product launches and campaigns.

In addition to my full-time and part-time work, my hobbies align. I enjoy using my skillset and network to raise awareness, engagement and funding for various non-profit organizations. My creative side is never completely fulfilled, so I enjoy getting crafty and innovative in my free time, too. Designing and creating apparel, content for personal social networks and more. No idea is too 'out of the box' for me!
